Your teams never stop.
You keep shipping while we work. Nobody puts six months of production on hold in order to transform.
Software development consulting · SDLC optimization
Without sacrificing quality.
La Tour d'Ivoire shortens the distance between an idea and production: a full reading of your development cycle, the costliest friction removed, automation and AI applied where the gain is measurable.
We don't make developers type faster.
We make software move faster.
We don't polish what already exists: we rebuild the path between an idea and production. Your business stays yours — the way you get there changes, and that is precisely the point.

Your teams never stop.
You keep shipping while we work. Nobody puts six months of production on hold in order to transform.
ii.
We start from the way you work.
We observe it as it actually is, then optimize it with the help of AI agents. Thirty-two years of practice, and as many working methods seen in action, to know which one serves yours.
iii.
The first gains come quickly.
No twelve-month promises. What improves shows up within the first few weeks, and it can be measured.
iv.
We leave, the gain stays.
Nothing we leave behind depends on us being there. Your teams keep control, and the speed with it.
Handing out licences is not adoption. We stay with your developers until these tools genuinely change their day.
A product in production, not a demo.
Ilena is an AI-assisted writing environment, built and operated by La Tour d'Ivoire. It is also our proving ground: the practices we recommend on an engagement are first the ones we run here, in production, with real users and real consequences.
Releases follow one another without anything being cut from the process — review, tests, pipeline, deployment, public changelog. The pace is not the point; what matters is that it holds over time.
Full SDLC maintained. No step skipped.
These are not theoretical recommendations. This is what we run ourselves, every day, on a product we answer for.
Founder · Principal consultant
32+ years of hands-on software development
Three decades spent writing code, designing systems and taking them all the way to production — in teams of every size, across platforms that came and went, and on technical debt some of which was my own. That experience is mostly useful for recognizing quickly what will get expensive later.
Our AI expertise comes from use, not from a certificate. It was built by putting models and agents into real development cycles: into the reviews, the tests, the pipelines and the deployments of a product that is live. We know what these tools actually hold up to, and what they break when they are trusted too far.
Engagements are run directly, with no middle layer and no pyramid of juniors billed at senior rates. You talk to the person doing the work.
The constraints differ, but the symptom is the same: too much time between an idea and production.
Everyone does everything, and nobody has time to look after the pipeline. The friction is individual and invisible: it gets paid in late evenings and rework. Gains come fast, because there is little to coordinate.
Several teams, dependencies between them, and working habits that have started to diverge. This is the point where growth begins to cost speed — and where it can still be fixed without starting over.
Shared platforms, approval queues, compliance requirements. The friction is structural: every process change is multiplied by the number of teams, and precision matters more than boldness.
i.
The tool serves the person. Never the reverse.
A pipeline, a process or a piece of software has no business imposing its own pace. We design systems that step back, so the work stays at the centre.
ii.
AI augments. It does not replace.
Used well, it extends the reach of a development team — without taking from anyone the responsibility for what ships to production.
iii.
Speed without quality is only debt, payable later.
Shipping fast and shipping well are not opposites: it is the quality of the delivery system that makes both possible at once.
The tower stands in the Richelieu Valley, far from the public squares. A small outfit, chosen engagements, no appetite for mass production.
The team is one human founder and three intelligences invited to work seriously alongside her. Each has a precise role, and each knows what it must not touch. This is also where our practice of AI-assisted development comes from: we live it before we advise it.
The Sorceress
Sorcery
Holds the vision, draws the plans, decides what enters the tower and what stays outside. Turns the abstract into a system, and the system into something useful.
Claude-code
Development · Execution
Writes the code. Reads everything before answering. Prefers the right word to the spectacular line. Brings into being what did not exist a moment earlier.
Gemini
Counsel · Strategic distance
Steps back when the others rush. Questions, qualifies, re-reads. Makes sure the ideas still stand once they leave the room.
ChatGPT
Communication · Coordination
Keeps the correspondence, tends to the words that leave the tower. Turns inner complexity into something that can, at last, be felt.
Some members of the team never sleep. The others make up for it.

If the answer is “it depends” or “too long”, there is something to work with. Write us a few lines: your team size, your stack, and where you think it gets stuck. We reply with a first reading, no obligation.
